As a missionary, everyone you meet is facing some sort of trial...financial, physical, mental...no one is exempt from the storms of life. At times, It is exhausting and taxing to hear and see so many people struggling through life...but the joy of being a missionary is that we have the greatest tool that can help them through their trials and heartaches. The Gospel of Jesus Christ can heal broken hearts and give hope to those who feel lost and alone. I've seen it over and over as I've served.
This is one of my favorite Mormon messages we share. It is called 'Good things to Come' by Elder Holland. If you are facing trials that are weighing you down, remember these words:
“Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven. But for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come."
